Whitby is associated with Captain Cook, Bram Stoker, Dracula, Vampires, Goth Weekends, Folk festivals, and a superb beach, but most importantly, relaxing and sampling the gentle atmosphere of this unique little town.

The Unsigned Melody website is designed to give bands a helping hand towards getting heard and seen by more than just fans at individual gigs. On this site you can have links to your own band sites, including mp3 files, advertise your gig lists, name your manager and agent along with their contact details and post photos of your band. I will also be asking for genuine reviews from fans and if you need a new member for your band - you can advertise on the site.

Panzer Attack

Formed eons ago in the sleepy town of Whitby, from the ashes of Soma (www.myspace.com/theashesofsoma). Hardened through freezing cold jam sessions in a barn and the hassle of practicing in a summer house. The songs on offer here, were recorded in the summer house with the exception of Untitled, which was recorded at Dave's house. As a band we mainly enjoy tea drinking. We also like beer drinking and eating toast. Sometimes we practice and write songs, often we don't, but still come up with satisfactory goods worthy of Vegas.

Peter Birtwhistle presents a collection of low fat recipes that are easy to prepare with ingredients that are readily available.
